Meet Tina.

By the time Tina Wagenhauser entered elementary school, she was already profoundly interested in art. By the time she reached the eighth grade, she was an award-winning artist receiving commissions to paint portraits. But then, Tina’s path to becoming a professional artist has never been a conventional one.

Artwork

For much of her adult life, art was just a hobby for Tina. She enjoyed drawing, painting, and experimenting with various art forms. But she never really intended for others to view her creations. She found new meaning in her portrait work after losing her 19-year-old son in a fatal car crash.

Tina discovered she could provide comfort to grieving friends by producing portraits of their lost loved ones. In that way, her artwork became a way to honor her son’s life.

Today, Tina is the owner of Art Elementz Gallery & Studio in Downtown Sylvania, where she creates masterpieces in several mediums, with a specialty in portraiture.

When she’s not in the studio, Tina enjoys spending time with her sons and flying with her boyfriend. She has traveled throughout the United States, Canada, and Mexico, and—everywhere she goes—she finds her creativity and soul grow immeasurably. Hence, she plans to continue exploring the world.

Asked to describe an instrumental person in her life, Tina says that everyone she meets influences her in some manner. She believes that those who enter her life do so for a reason.

When it comes to work, Tina maintains that what you do doesn’t matter, as long as you do it with all your heart. No wonder Tina Wagenhauser puts her heart into the art she creates.
